Claudia did come finally. I had forgotten that she also needed something from my ID that Carolina needs for her German citizenship. I am a bit pissed because Carolina has needed all sorts of papers from me to get her German citizenship. But I can´t have one because I´m too old.
I don´t really want to go to Germany. In fact. I have problems going to the Bank 3 blocks away. But I want to decide what to do with my life. Up to now, I haven´t had any problem going anywhere with a tourist Visa.
Claudia said no to a sandwich so I began making a sandwich for me. Bread, homemade mayo, tomato and thin slices of green hot chile. She looked at it , said yummy and accepted one
I will now plan as much as I can next week although mu life is always filled with plan Bs. Even my visit to María had to be postponed due to a trip she made to the dentist.
Now I´m mylotting in bed. The weekend was a success after all. Now for mylot

Passports are very expensive, at least in my country.

Germany will accept me as a tourist but not as a citizen. I will not go there as a tourist at this time of my life.

What gives them the right to tell you you are too old to go to Germany?

The laws of Germany say that I´m to old to apply for the German citizenship. Yet my granddaughter needs ALL my papers to be able to get it. My brother has had it for decades. But then, Germany did not accept women that were born in other countries, even with German ancestry. That is changed now, but again I couln´t, now for age. THEM is Germany, not my granddaughter.

Just for interest, Vince was checking out the cost of hiring a motor-home. He discovered they won't hire to anyone over 70 so he was a bit pissed off about that. He doesn't want to hire one but like you, he'd like to be in charge of his life.
