I tried to put up a post a few minutes ago, but it got wiped out and poof, gone. So, I decided to try a new post on a different topic! Food! Dinner tonight!
I made a nice spaghetti sauce that had the perfect balance of onions, garlic, bell pepper and other spices. Using fresh ingredients makes a big difference in flavor and happy to have garlic on hand and also bell pepper in the freezer from the garden. I served over pasta and that was the quick and easy dinner for tonight. No sides, no veggies. The hubby was happy, so that made me happy.
What did you have for dinner tonight?

I am more on snacks than dinner - fresh fruits and dry fruits. and a hot mug of milk in the night with a boiled egg.

Had a Meals on Wheels meal in the freezer: Ravioli, green beans and corn. Have a good week.

I hope you and your family enjoyed the dinner.
I and my whole family is vegetarian. I'm the only one in my family who eat once a day.Only dinner that consists of rice or chapatis with lentils; beans and some green vegetables. All in a little amount; and a glass of hot;sweet cow milk mixed with honey. That's enough for me to survive.

@kareng i usually cook for us, but sometimes we get food from there. we have one that's near our house and it's not too busy, so our orders are always pretty good

Homemade spaghetti sauce is always better than anything that comes from a can or a jar, and when I make spaghetti, I always use my own recipe. For dinner we had our Thanksgiving dinner family get together, and we had all the typical fare you'd expect. We always have ham and turkey.

You are absolutely right; using fresh ingredients is much better as they make a significant difference in flavor! Last night, I had bread and tuna for dinner, Kareng. :)

@freelancermariagrace I think we may have to throw that in the mix here since we have all those leftovers from the other day when I cooked up a couple of meals!

That looks great and delicious. No sides or veggies needed , when you have made this very well. For me , I had burger and fries . Well, I reached home late and wanted something quick as I wanted to go to bed early and well I had no choice to get the burger and fries. Any other chocie would have taken longer time and I did not think I had the patience. Plus , I was in no mood to ook after a very hectic day. It was a nice restaurant and specialized in grilled items. The burger and fries were good , not as great as Mcdonalds but still worth the money. You have a great day ahead!
