Neighbor and police rescue a couple who were inside a burning home

John Wonio who is a resident of Des Moines Iowa will say that he was just doing his duty as a good neighbor when a house fire that happened on Saturday morning. John risked his life by getting inside the home as he was able to call 911 to ask for help before he entered the smoke-filled room to rescue a woman who passed out from the effects of smoke inhalation inside the living room. A police officer from the Des Moines Police Department assisted John to get the unconscious woman out of the house along with authority figures getting the man who also was found unconscious due to smoke inhalation. The couple were taken by an ambulance to a local hospital where their condition is not known at this time. The sad part of this story is that three dogs and five cats died in the fire that started in the kitchen. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/cri...
