I'm going to teach you how to say some Christmas phrases in Welsh, from the picture above.
I will write the English in normal type, then the Welsh in bold, and the pronunciation in italics. (What I like about the picture above is that it shows you how to pronounce it aswell!)
Merry Christmas - Nadolig Llawen - Na-doh-lig lla-when (Also, when you pronounce a ll you make a blowy noise with your mouth!)
Happy New Year - Blwyddyn Newydd Dda - Bl-oi-ddim New-ydd Dd-ah (Also a dd is pronounced th!)
Present - Anrheg - Ann-rhh-eg
Star - Seren - Se-ren
Christmas tree - Coeden Nadolig - Coy-den Na-doh-lig
Father Christmas - Sion Corn - Shaun Corr-n
Snow man - Dyn Eira - Dean Eye-rah
Reindeer - Carw - Ca-roo
Snow - Eira - Eye-rah
Christmas dinner - Cinio Nadolig - Kin-yo Na-doh-lig
Christmas pudding - Pwdin Nadolig - Pww-din Nah-doh-lig
Christmas carols - Carolau Nadolig - Car-ol-ai Na-doh-lig
Stocking - Hosan - Hos-ann
Mince Pie - Mins Pei - Mince Pay
Decorations - Addurniadau - Add-irn-iad-ai
Angel - Angel - Ann-ghel
Holly - Celyn - Ceh-lynn
Lights - Goleuadau - Go-ley-add-ai
And one more that's not on the picture:-
Baby Jesus - Baban Iesu - Bah-bahn YEH-soo
I hope you enjoyed this Christmas themed Welsh lesson.
Have a nice day.

Thank you very much. It is, isn't it? I wish everything had the Welsh pronunciation at the side.

Thank you, I take it you are of Welsh descent.Do you speak the language at home? Maybe they got the word caribou from the Welsh or Gaelic. I noticed mince pie is almost the same in both languages.

Yes, it is. I'm having a bit of trouble with pronunciation. That's why I like it above where they have how it's pronounced at the side aswell. The soft mutation is a nightmare!
