We went to the big Tesco again this afternoon. I got rid of the soft recycle and then I found a trolley in the foyer. We went up on the lift, then my Mum went and sat on a bench. She gave me her shopping list, her club card and £200. Then she gave me an extra £10 to get some stamps for Syd.
I went off to do the shopping, and first I got Syd's stamps from the service desk. They cost just over £6 and I used the £10 note to pay for them. The lady asked me if I wanted a receipt and I said, No, thank you.
I then went and found a book about positivity by David Jason for Syd for Christmas. Don't know how that will go down! Then I went and got a Doctor Who magazine.
I only got 1 bottle of water today, and then I got some sushi. I then went and got some Christmas tags for my Mum. Some have got a Christmas pudding on and some have just got a tartan pattern on.
I then went and got some long liner panty liners while I had them. My Mum didn't need any pads because she's got a stack of them now!
I then went and got the usual fruit and veg, yoghurts, milk and puddings. I got grated cheese for my Mum and Danish Blue cheese for Syd. I got some dips for my Mum to take to the House Group party tonight, but I couldn't find any vegan dips for me, and I got some mini pork pies.
I went to the vegan and ready meals isle, and I got myself some tofu, vegan stuff for Monday's lunch (meant to be a plant based substitute for chicken) and meat free bites. I got my Mum a Toad in the Hole, 2 Shepherd's Pies and 1 cottage pie for Syd.
I found some pigs in blankets at the end of the isle, but I couldn't find any vegan pigs in blankets.
I got myself some sesame oil and olive oil, then I got myself some soy sauce and udon noodles.
Next I went to the canned isle and I got an original curry flavoured pot noodle, and 1 can of vegetable and 1 can of spring vegetable soup, all for Syd.
Then I went and got my Mum and Syd some Raspberry Turnovers and I got some Mr Kipling Angel slices.
After that I went and got some salt and vinegar pringles for Syd, and some chocolate digestives and kit kats, also for Syd. I got myself some Matcha and camomile T-bags. Mum wanted some snacks and things but I didn't know what to get so I didn't get anything!
I then went off to the frozen section and I got frozen peas, frozen sweetcorn and some Aunt Bessies stuffing balls. At the end of the isle I found some Jacket potatoes so I didn't have to reach for them round the corner. Then I got a large bag of McCains chips.
I went and got some washing up liquid, and then I went and got an Amazon gift card for me, some bird seed for Syd. Then I got two dog toy balls for Holly the shi tzu and Impy who's an Imperial shi tzu, and a long thin thing that looks like a teddy bear for Nan Nutt's Golden Labrador Daisy.
Then I went to the till. I put £100 on the Amazon gift card. It came to just over £255 with the Gift card. I paid with the Gift card with money that Mum had given me previously.
Then I went and sat on the bench with my Mum. I gave her her change, club card and shopping list. At 4:25pm we went down on the lift. Syd wasn't quite their yet, so we sat on a bench for a bit.
When he came we put the bags in the boot and went home. When we got home I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Mum put Syd's cottage pie in the oven, but she wasn't having anything because of going to the Christmas party at the House Group. When Stuart came to pick her up for House Group she told him I'd bought some dips but nothing to dip in them!
I added my Amazon gift card to my Amazon account and ordered two new blood pressure monitors for me and my Mum.
What have you lot been getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a great night.

That's a lot of stuff. Did you forget anything? What are you going to use the dip for?

Yes. I forgot to get something to dip in the dip. And the dip was for my Mum to take to the house group party! I also forgot my vegan pizza that I was going to have for my breakfast all week!

Yes, I've got a few more Christmas cards to do yet, and I make mine!
But I've got all my Christmas presents now, so that's something!
I did have a good day, thank you very much.
I hope you did too.
Have a great night.

I don't like it when it rains and I have to stay indoors.
I hope you got everything done that you needed to do when you were writing at your PC.
Well, I didn't get everything! I forgot to get something to dip in the dip, and I forgot my vegan pizza that I was going to have for my breakfast all week!

@sharonelton I took my daughter for a dental check up and it was in a town 10 miles away where there is a Sainsbury’s so I went there and avoided going to dismal Asda. I made shepherds pie and apple crumble.

I'm sorry your daughter had to have a dental checkup, but I'm glad you could go to Sainsbury's and avoid the dismal Asda!
The apple crumble sounds nice.
