I Found $20 On The Floor Today

I was at Walgreens at 6 am right when they opened I was at the cash register with my purchases and looked down and saw a $20 bill laying on the floor I scooped it up There was no way I was going to give it to the cashier in case somebody came back to claim it because she would have just pocketed it herself I found a penny in a parking lot yesterday So I’m up $20.01 for the week so far. Woo-hoo!

@JudyEv Fat chance. lol What's worse is I am SURE a register came up $20 short and a bartender got blamed for it, and the issue wouldn't be corrected by the returned $20 but the manager WAS $20 richer. lol

That happened to me once when I was servicing a bar on my pest control route. I found a $20 bill on the floor under the counter and gave it to the manager, and he said thanks and put it in his pocket. I never would do that again. lol

I'd have done the same. The rightful owner will never see their $20, so, finder's keepers. I'd like to find a $20. I did once a long time ago in the parking lot of a Jack in the Box. I felt like I won the lottery. lol
