Firefighters rescue a small dog who fell under a porch

Firefighters with the Madison Fire Department answered an emergency call from the owner of a mixed breed dog that fell into a hole in the back wall of the house underneath a large black porch on Wednesday morning..
The firefighters reported that the hole was about one foot across and two feet deep when the firefighters took turns crawling underneath the porch when they able to reach the dog named Darcy who was rescued and returned to her owner safe and sound.
Thank goodness for the actions of the firefighters to save the life of a mixed chihuahua-dachshund mixed dog.

it's good that they managed to save the dog. maybe someone should do something about that hole to prevent such accidents in future

It is sure nice to have Fire Departments that will come and help folks like this. I bet this dog is cute too. Dachshunds are cute and puppies are adorable.
