The Key To Living In Space? Bat Blood ?

Bat blood! would you drink it?. Scientists have long been trying to figure out how human bodies can adapt to living in space. Now they suspect the answer lies in - drinking bat blood. Well, speaking for myself l have never felt the desire to live on another planet - not even if l was 30 years younger. So what do you say, would you give it a try? Of course l suppose there must be years of experiments ahead. Read all about it in the link below. Pixabay image https://www.indy100.com/science-tech/bat-blood-hibernation-space-travel

Bat blood how strange...I don't think I will ever be faced with the choice of living on another planet.

@aureategloom I suppose people have their reasons for wanting to follow a particular path.

@Kandae11 I love airplanes but I don't wish to ride it everytime I go to other places, coz even though data shows that car accident is higher than plane crash, still its a little scary to think.

Bat blood and living on another planet certainly isn't something I would want to do. Some days I have enough trouble living on this planet

@Kandae11 I doubt you can escape the problems here on earth as I would assume as humans we would make the same mistakes (if not all, then some)

There is enough trouble on this earth already which we must deal with. However some actually feel that they could escape earth's problems in space.

I would rather die here, and be excavated someday ....and find myself in some calm museum along with skeletons of dinosaurs. We can discuss the reasons for our extinction rather than travel to space....LOL. I love food, no chance of getting that in the space, is it? LOL

I suppose we will have to transport our own food until we find something edible - hopefully not in the form of space animals.

Of all the things , blood - that too from bats! That is a crazy article. At some point of human race , we would have to move to a different planet in order to survive. Either this is because of the Sun becoming a red dwarf star and expanding , thereby destroying the oceans and water on earth. Or it is because of our own actions. The climate change is one such dangerous activity. However, this may not happen in our lifetime. But living in space may not be possible as there is no oxygen, we would definitely need planet or planets to survive. Lets see how it goes. Have a good weekend!

Have a great weekend too. Yes the article does sound a bit crazy. I wonder how many bats they would have to catch in order to get the amount of blood needed - and which Astronaut would actually drink it.
