The cold, hard reality

So, there I am innocently intending to sit on the throne this morning when I sat on the covered toilet seat which was quite cold. I don't always have the cover down as I see no reason to do it when I am the only one using that bathroom, anyway I had a bit of a shock, and one I was not expecting. Did you ever have a shock with your most functional home plumbing Godsend?

@LadyDuck My parents used to always keep their house on the cool side, but nowadays is like a hot house in there.
. That's old age for you I guess

Sometimes we get some shocks in our daily routines.
So did you get the things repaired for the plumbing?

It doesn't need to be repaired. Our toilets are covered here.

It really was!! That was almost as bad as falling into a toilet on which the seat had been raised.

Cool, That would be nice. I don't have a spare heater I could put in there..but I guess I could find a cheap one that would be suitable for use in there. Not a bad idea really. Roomie used to use one when I had a spare in his bathroom.

@sallypup It depends on the size, but those little ceramic type are only about 10 bucks.

@snowy22315 Heaters don't cost too much. We're trying to figure what to do with the upstairs when it comes to heat.

I cannot sit without the cover being down. I feel like I might fall into it

No, the cover is something separate from the seat. The seat has to be down for women to use it, but the cover must be up.
