Why Are Senior Citizens So Much More Talkative Than People My Age?

I'm in my 40s and always noticed older people being pleasant and talkative. I have no social media or "smart" phone.. I spent my 20s traveling the world. People I know all stay home, and so do I.. It seems like begging trying to find a conversation, with many thinking one wants to engage in some kind of "sexual" talk or ask for money... I think another reason I've had issues is because I don't like the music, movies, or comedy (only things I love) made in my lifetime.. If I had no scruples, I would have created a "female username"

i'm in my 20s and i noticed the same thing. i feel like younger generations find it lame to be talkative and everyone's afraid of "oversharing". that's why conversations end really fast - nobody wants to really "invest" themselves.
i don't understand what you mean - you said you don't like music, movies or comedy and then you sad only things i love. i don't get it

They know how to talk and have more social sense, Also older people are more experience in life and have plenty to say, As far as music and movies go I think everyone should know about all kinds of music and movies through al the years, There are many good things out there, I have favorites from as far back as the 1950s and I was born in 1957 but I watched and listened and learned, So I could converse about a lot,
