Happy Friday The 13th

Someone this morning asked if people were superstitious about today. I told them it's often lucky for me. And it was a good one today. The picture is my big prize from the auction today. It has a total of 5 planter boxes. I only put a couple on it for the picture. I am slowly getting different raised beds to plant in next year.
I spent 54 dollars today. That was 30 of it. I also got 4 dozen of eggs for 3 dollars each. That is getting to be cheap now. I also got a welcome mat for the neighbor. It was 5 and finished my shopping for them. I also got 3 packs of Oreos for 2.25 each. So I made out pretty good.
A friend and me were laughing at that one woman again. The auctioneer told her a couple of times that he had to take care of the backup bidders first 
. She finally started bidding at times.
It wasn't too cold inside the building. They used plastic to section an area off and installed a wood burner on one side. On the other side was an electric heater being run by a generator. You still wanted your coat on but it wasn't uncomfortably cold.
Even with them starting early it was still almost 4 when we headed home and they did still have a little bit to sell. But not as much as last month at that time.
Fuzzy kitten was very happy to see us. He isn't used to us being gone that long. He will get used to it this summer.

You got a good bit! LOL on the lady! Always fun to watch newbies at auctions. We have one here that is done online and it is always funny when new people join in. I prefer in person auctions. We haven't been to the one we normally go to in awhile. She actually had a sale at one of the buildings here in my town last week. We pretty much forgot about it. I don't think she would of had anything I would have wanted to finish out the Christmas shopping though, so no biggie.

She is not new. Just when they have a lot of the same item they will pass them out at the bid price. But to the ones that bid first. So she doesn't want to run it up to be sure of getting some 
. I prefer in person too.

Too bad about fuzzy kitten but sounds like a decent day at the auction. A rather good Friday the 13th at this end. My grandson had his Dr's. Appt. Today and got a good report.

He is used to one of us being here or only gone for a couple of hours at the most. This was about 6 hours total

In that width they are 50 and more on temu and even higher through the other stores so I was very happy. Would like to get a couple more.

Looks like kitty wants to make a hiding place out of that planter. lol. As for Friday the 13th, to me it's not unlike any other day. Regarding eggs, the cheapest I can find are $2.49 a dozen at Ruler and I won't buy them at that price. They are off my list until they drop under $2 a dozen.

Fuzzy has to check everything.
That's a good price really. My neighbor went up to 2.50 and has small eggs in there. So I didn't mind 3 for farm fresh brown eggs.

Well congrats on the prize. You would definitely remember Friday the 13th. I do remember classmates mentioning firdya the 13th being dangerous and all while I was in fifth or sixth grade. For me , friday was just normal. I started late to office which resulted in not getting parking lot easily. Luckily managed one thanks to the security there. People were already on the friday mode and so eveyrthing was slow post lunch. On returning from office , I just relaxed and watched a few programs. So, there was nothing fun or interesting for me during the day. I do not remember my earlier Friday 13th . So perhaps they all went ok . You have a great weekend!
