More Errands Today In McComb

I managed to ditch the Flea Market again today. I wasn't ready with enough things tagged and ready to put out. I probably won't go tomorrow either, but will wait until Sunday afternoon.
My husband suggested that we go do the ride through the park there with the Christmas Lights. This is a tradition in the town where the flea market is located. I told him we could go to the flea market and get things done there and then go to the park. He said that was fine. So we will try to put him to work helping to tidy up...haha! It won't work, I can already tell you.
I did make it to McComb today to knock out some errands. I hit up both Dollar Tree stores and still did not find several things on my list. I'll try again after Christmas. Both stores had limited quantities of just about everything. I needed nasal spray for the hubby. He likes that kind so that is what I get him. It has menthol in it and helps to open up nasal passages. I also wanted some microfiber sponges. They were out of those at both stores also.
I took a break and ran into Burger King to use the restroom and got a vanilla ice cream cone on the way out. That was a nice snack since I missed lunch. I wasn't really hungry, so didn't bother.
I stopped at the liquor store and got a bottle of wine for one of the girl's father in law and then hit Walmart. I only had a few things to pick up there.
I had to get more eggs. I paid right at $5 for a dozen and half. A dozen was only $.50 cheaper, so I went for the larger carton. I am hoping they will have some at the flea market Sunday afternoon.
That's my day today. Nothing exciting. How did your Friday the 13th go?

Warmed up nice. George got to watch the school bus come. He's on his third shake of the day. I'm thankful for that.

@kareng It's labeled as a complete meal replacment designed to go in a feeding tube. It can be taken orely, and that's how he's been taking them over the last month. I just flush the tube daily to keep it clean.

It sounds like you had a good day. It was peaceful after friend and his dog went home about 10:30 AM. Basically, I stayed inside all day and worked online, and cleaned the bathroom, watched a movie, did some laundry, ran the dishwasher briefly walked on the treadmill and talked some to my family, so it was a pretty productive day.

Sounds like a good day for you.
I love to go to the malls but now during the season it is full of shoppers and mall-goers.

It is a combination of two main things at present. Besides regular old inflation of course which is also a big factor. But avian flu has depressed the supply and with high demand during the holiday baking season with less eggs available in the market, it has driven prices through the roof.

I am making a dinosaur for my cousin. It won't like the picture, but that's okay.

Sounds like a good day. My Friday the 13th was not pleasant. As you know, I made the decision to put my husband in long term care. Have a good weekend.

The egg prices continue to be ridiculous, with more pain ahead as both the avian flu and the holiday baking season driving up demand are driving up prices even higher. I continue to forego buying them, and I have 8 left in the fridge. When they are gone, they are gone until prices come down.
