Caraway Seed Soda Bread

I am going to make some more of this in a few.
Sometimes I crave it and nothing else will do.
So simple to make as I recall my Mother making it often.
Even in her last years, I made these soda breads for her.

I used to make loaves of regular white bread in Latvia and froze some so we had bread for some time before I had to bake again, Now I almost don't eat any bread,

@RebeccasFarm .......So are prunes. I have started eating a prune or two each day. Does wonders. I do love good and hearty bread though.

How wonderful you made these breads for your dear Mother . . . this is an heirloom recipe as well? I guess I haven't ventured too much in the bread realm . . . maybe the closest thing would be a rosemary focaccia which I haven't made in years.

I like to buy the soft bread - I like carrot / banana bread.

My Mom, when she was living, used to use her bread machine for homemade white bread. Delicious, and I forgave her for using a machine instead of kneading it herself in a bowl.
