I did some editing on my book this morning!

After a brief "comments conversation" with a MyLot member this morning, I went to fetch little anecdote about street life in Oakland CA. It's from the "Street Life" chapter of my (forthcoming, I hope) book about working with difficult children. While cutting (for pasting on MyLot) that little segment, I ran across a few typos, and places where a sentence or two would clarify what I was writing about. No need for @Just4Him (or @Vandna7) to break out the Horse Prod today. By the way, my delusions of adequacy continue! I read several of the anecdotes in that chapter this morning. All were engaging, some were slightly amusing. Anyway, congratulations, please. My day is off to a good start. Beer run coming.
