It's Get Out of the House Day!

My husband suggested the other day that we go check out the Lights in the Park. The location is about 45 minutes from our home and in the same little town as the flea market. So I suggested waiting until Sunday afternoon and going by the flea market and then head to the park.
He agreed, so we will be going to tidy up. I haven't been by there in a week and a half, so I am expecting a lot of tidying to do. I am only going to bring new t-shirts to put out today to keep the time there limited. He will only walk around for a few minutes before his knee is giving him trouble.
The park with the light display is a "drive through the park" where you pay by the car for entrance into the car. This park has been doing this for years and we have never checked it out before. Hopefully, I will be able to get some good pictures!

@kareng Hey you tried and got something. lights can be hard to phtograph because they're light but still.

Yes. However, there are not many Christmas lights in our area. I am not sure why people do not put up Christmas lights here. Hehe.

I do..it can be awe inspiring. We went to one of those drive thru's a couple of years ago. It was fun. However, the best lights are at the arboretum. They are a wonderland.

That must have been a great outing and even to get there you musthave seen streets lit up may be with a Christmas fee.

@kareng The paintings would add a nice touch. Uptown LaRue is decorated every year. But fewer and fewer houses are decorating each year

@wolfgirl569 It's nice and I haven't seen any two alike. Stores in neighboring towns have also been hiring her. She posts or the store will post on FB her artwork. It's pretty cool!
