Unbelievable

Some undeniable facts that in eight days it will be Christmas Eve. When I had others to share in my Christmas by now I would have swollen feet from all my Christmas shopping. At least I can relax now and just remember. I guess the scariest thing is that in fifteen days it will be New Year’s Eve and 2025. When I think about when I was born and how many years I have walked on the Earth I get awfully tired. When the year 2000 arrived I was with my husband and family and so thrilled about it all, Now I put one foot in front of the other and keep the memories alive, When I think about 2025 I find it rather scary but time will tell. I still wish I could sit on Santa’s lap and tell him all my troubles. The final time I met Santa I was twelve years old,

That's a great picture. I never thought we'd make it to 2000 and here comes 2025. Have a good week.

@RasmaSandra Usually I'm able to shake off the blues; but this is the first time in my life that I'm having difficulty staying positive.

You were brave to sit on Santa's lap, I was always too shy as a child. I actually do not have alot of great memories of Christmas morning. I have sweet memories of my aunts, uncles and cousins coming over for the day and the fun we would have and nice meal together. I just loved that feeling of everyone being together, saying grace and then eating all at once. We have to hold on to our sweet memories, they will remind us of what we have been through when we fear the future.

I used to always love Christmas, but not really any more. I try to remember the meaning behind it.

I kinda feel the same way. In a real dark funk. Take it slow with Christmas stuff. Your health and well being is more important than that. Take care.

I never experienced sitting on Santa's lap. I hope tha tin all those years you've walked on earth, you have left beautiful foot prints. I have waled for over 40 years, but I feel tired already and I feel sad that majority of my memories were tragic.

@RasmaSandra The good memories I had when I was a child are all gone actually. The holidays only remind me of the bad things. It makes me depressed.
