That was a headache but I got it done. I have hubbies phone transfer started. Now that I know what I need to do mine won't take as long as his did. This should save us at least 50 dollars a month when it's done. I wish I could fully get rid of Verizon but we will still need the hotspot for the house until we can find better home internet.
Lunch was good. We had a great time visiting. And the food is always good at the Chinese buffet.
So far Fuzzy kitten hasn't opened any of the presents. I have been surprised about that. Hopefully they survive the next few days without me rewrapping anything.

We have Verizon right now and they seem to constantly find ways to keep it expensive. Visible is a part of Verizon but a lot cheaper.

We got rid of Hughes.net and went with T-Mobil. My hubby was not satisfied with the service because of buffering on his tablet while watching television shows. The rep there talked him into getting the Away system which is meant for people traveling in campers, truckers, etc. Well Away was a nightmare and instead of a few minutes of buffering he got eternal Spin, Spin, Spin. Next he ordered Starlink. That has been installed for about a month now and no problems at all. We have only had 2-3 second glitches on internet service. Once we get the new TV in we will be able to stream with no problems. Best of all, the price is a savings over what we were paying Hughes.net and T-Mobil. As soon as they get their cell service up, we will be switching phone service!

@wolfgirl569 Right, we will never go back to Hughesnet either. With Starlink you have to purchased the equipment, but was okay for us since monthly was cheaper than the previous two (satellite for tv and internet) combined.

We had Hughes several years ago and won't go back to it. T-Mobile don't have good signal in our area. I checked them. Don't think I have checked starlink. Will do that. I have the phones switching to visible which is still actually part of Verizon. But done as a prepay and a lot cheaper.

@kareng It looks like they cover our area. Might check them out more after Christmas. It would be nice not to get my speeds dropped down just because I wanted to stream some shows.

We sure are happy with our phone service. Our cats never bother any of our gifts. Funny how different animals can be.

T-mobile offers home internet. Actually, all the major carriers do. Look into whomever you're switching to.

T-Mobile doesn't have good signal in our area. Being in the country limits me more unless they provide great hotspot service.

We are with Kinetic/Windstream for phone and internet now; but it's been a hassle. We still don't have our original phone number back. Have a good week.

it's always good to be able to save some money
