There is a popular dish called ghoogni where the boiled matar is cooked.

In bengal boiled matar is cooked into a popular dish called ghoogni. Along with the boiled matar there is addition to coconuts, use of boiled gram and onion and chillies. It can be eaten with bread as a breakfast.

@sathviksouvik That is one thing I miss about work. We had lots of International visiting scientists and for Thanksgiving we always had a potluck dinner. It was always fun to try all the dishes they brought that were popular and common in their home countries.
