I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw eggs for 2.14 at Aldi. They were 4.47 at my favorite value grocery store, about the same as everywhere else. If I used eggs more I would have bought 2 dozens. The gas was the cheapest I saw in Fburg, where the gas tends to be less. I was happy..and put 20 bucks in the tank,

I haven’t checked our gas prices in the last few days. But that’s an excellent price for eggs! I love Aldi.

@MarieCoyle I guess you will have to have somebody drop you off. Energizer max batteries were 2.99 for a 4 pack there I bought a couple of those.

@snowy22315 We have a huge Ollie’s, but it is in an area that there are very few, if any, available parking spots! Frustrating!

@aureategloom Yeah, exactly. The store I went to Saturday has excellent prices on frozen things, yogurts, canned goods, cereal etc. but they are not good on milk or apparently eggs. I opted to get them elsewhere.

@snowy22315 we used to shop at three different places for different items because the prices were different in each one - in one store milk was cheaper than others, in second store clothes softener was cheaper than in the first one, third one had the cheapest snacks. it's good to know where to shop

You did get some good deals. I got eggs at $1.99 per dozen at the Dillons (kroger) because I downloaded a digital coupon. I use eggs a lot.

Our gas has gone up...to around $3.00 per gallon. I bought 1/2 dozen eggs. Don't remember what I paid for them. Have a good day.

It has been so long since I’ve purchased eggs I wouldn’t know what a good deal on them would be. Good to know!

Gas is more in my immediate area. Friend said it is less expensive where he lives, and that never happens
