I went to the little Tesco again today. Before I went I checked my weather app and it said cloudy with 40% chance of rain. There were raindrops coming from a cloud on the little diagram under 10:00am, but I was hoping it was going to miss me! My Mum wrote a Christmas card for our old neighbours and asked me to post it on the way. They were having their drive done. Last time I went, with their Happy New Home card, their drive was all gravely, but now that's all gone and their drive is ready for the top coat which is sitting there in bags ready to go on. But no-one was around, and their car was on the road because it can't fit on the drive with everything on there. I left the trolley near the end of the drive because I wouldn't have been able to get passed all the stuff on the drive with it, and I posted the card through the door. I didn't hear a dog barking when I posted it through, so maybe they'd taken her for a walk. After I'd delivered Joan and Julie's card, I went to the post box and posted one last Christmas card from me, and a letter to my penpal in Wales. As I was going to cross the road to go towards the Tesco, a workman's truck and trailer was reversing into our street to turn round to do something on the road that our street leads off, so I had to wait for him to move before I crossed the road. I walked up passed our Church, and then crossed the road at the crossing to go to the Tesco. Mum wanted some kitchen roll, so I looked for that first. My Mum likes the Regina Blitz kitchen roll, but they only had the Plenty, and that has smaller sheets and they don't absorb the water as good as the Regina Blitz so I didn't bother getting any. We didn't need any TV magazines because we've got the Christmas double issue now, so I went straight round to get my Mum and Syd's cakes. I got some chocolate croissants again from the freshly baked section. Then I got Syd's bounty bar. Mum wanted some biscuits so I got the malted milk biscuits that she usually has. After that I went round and got 2 lots of strawberries. As I was going round the shop I kept looking out for an Amazon gift card. I went and got 2 bottles of milk. Mum wanted some of those meat ball things that I can't say the name of because MyLot thinks it's a "Bad Word!" But they didn't have any of .. those. So I got a box of 2 small pizzas instead, so they won't starve! I went and got some honey roast peanuts, then I went round towards the till. I found an Amazon gift card on a small cardboard display infront of the shelves opposite the till so I grabbed one of them. I want that so I can add it to my Amazon account and buy my nephews something they want without having to add my new debit card to my account and using that. When I got to the till I asked for £35 on the Amazon gift card and payed for that first separately with my own money. Then I payed for Mum's groceries, and that came to just over £16. I went out of the shop, and there's a little bit of a slope out there towards the crossing, and I went down it quite fast, and I remember thinking of Wynne's dancing, and I thought to myself, that was definitely the quick step! And it never rained on me once. When I got home I told my Mum I couldn't get the f*****s, and that I'd got 2 small pizzas instead. Then I gave her her change, shopping list and club card. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I will sort out the gift card and send for the presents later. Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again. What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

This site has some very strange ideas about 'bad words'.
