Should You Tell Someone if their Butt-Crack Is Showing?

Just what exactly is the etiquette on that? Do you know their butt-crack is showing but they don't care? Are they showing their butt-crack off on purpose? Would they be mortified to know that others could see their butt-crack? Is it too embarrassing of an issue for a stranger to tell another stranger? I saw a man at the gym on the machine in front of me and both his sweat pants and underwear were drooping down and I saw parts of him that I never intended to see. What do you do? Do you tell people that they need to pull their pants up?

If I don't know the person and it was a guy, I would ignore it. If it was a woman, I might think about telling her. Have a good day.

If it is someone I don’t know, I usually just look the other way, especially if it is a man. And, it’s usually a man.

I would probably say something if it was someone I knew but a stranger....nope. I'd just look away. There are too many crazy people in this world.

I shop at Walmart a lot. People know what's showing. They don't care. I just laugh or roll my eyes, and of course point them out whenever I can.

that's such a weird situation and if it's someone close - i'd tell them. but if it's someone i don't know - i can always look away. why would i even look in the direction of someone's butt anyways?

My guess is they don't care. They would have to feel the draft. My bro in law seems to have that issue..Sis just rolls her eyes. She doesn't understand why he doesn't wear pants that fit right.

@looeyville They should be sternly admonished. Such people of course never get to see the unedifying sight but everyone else does because it’s behind them. There’s no need for such a show. And as for displays of underwear, the clue is in the title - it’s called UNDERwear for a very good reason.
