Biden Frees Up More Iranian Assets

It seems Joe Biden, the soon to be former president, has decided to put the Mideast and also the U.S. in danger before he prepares to leave office in January. Biden has unfrozen an additional 10 billion dollars in Iranian assets. He had previously released 100 billion in assets to Iran. This new decision was made 1 day after Kamala Harris and the Biden Administration lost the November election.
Why give the Mullahs this additional income? Biden says it is for humanitarian aid for the region, which is total BS. Something is definitely shady here, not surprising coming from this White House. One might conjecture it is designed to pacify Iran, so they can put pressure on Hamas to release the hostages. However, if financing the Iranian war machine is the Biden Administration's goal to gain peace, this is not the answer.
What will Iran do with these additional funds? They will be used to support violence, being funneled to hostile groups like Hamas, the Houthis, and Hezbollah, to threaten countries around the world. The money may also be used by Iran to further their development of weapons of mass destruction (Nukes). Basically Biden has given Iran more "blood money."
What a terrible decision by the Biden Administration to make. If the fundamental Islamists actually believed in Christmas this amount of cash would make for a generous present! No wonder Biden may arguably be the worst President in U.S. History.
My Christmas wish is for Biden and all his advisors to go to Joe's beach in Delaware until the January inauguration. They have done enough damage over these 4 years!

Agreed. I remember when he was vp he ill-advised Oboma, or whoever it was. And got our people killed. inicent people who caught up in someone else's war. So why not create more? Trump will take the heat for it. I am sure.

Basically, Obama then Biden tried to bribe and appease Iran to stop them from developing nukes. Their view was that these terrorists would respond to diplomacy. Yet both Obama and Biden failed to understand that Iran would never negotiate with us for a peaceful solution in the Middle East. The leaders of Iran hate America as much as Israeli and thugs do not negotiate.
They only understand strength and force if necessary. Biden's finger wagging and toothless threats not backed up fell on deaf ears. Biden has left Trump with quite a mess to resolve. And yes, Trump will be blamed by the media no matter how he deals with Iran.

@dgobucks226 Just like he was with COVID and the events of Jan 6 2021. I just want to roll my eyes at the stupidity. I've heard on the grape vine that Biden has been our worst president since carter.

@kaylachan Yes, Kayla I would agree with you there. I've also heard some say President James Buchannan, who preceded Abraham Lincoln could also be considered the worst. Another 1 term president, Buchannan did nothing to stop our nation from Civil War. Just let it happen.
Seems like what happened to Lincoln, Biden has left many problems for Trump to deal with.

It's totally a sad and bad situation. Yet, the Dems will be all for it. Not hard to understand why this is bad for the U.S. It is basically giving them money to start a war on us. I will be so glad when this guy is out of office! Good riddance!!

Yes, Biden has never made a correct decision when it comes to foreign policy. It has made us appear weak to the rest of the world. And his handling of the economy and immigration was just as bad!
He and his advisors have made quite a mess for Trump to clean up!

OT, you are right! Biden and his cronies are the Evil Empire. Donald "Skywalker" Trump will definitely need the "Force" to be with him.

I'm far from an expert on Middle East relations but I did see a former US government employee retweet something (I don't remember) basically agreeing with the fact that Iran's military is $hit and has no chance against Israel. I think Israel is going to seriously hurt Iran in the coming months.

Yes, bribing and appeasing a terrorist country is not the way to go. Building a strong military to use as a deterrent if necessary is the only way to get Iran's attention. If your military's focus is on woke ideology and reducing military manpower instead of developing weapons to protect us and our interests how does that deter our enemies from starting world conflicts?
Wagging your finger and making ideal threats as both Obama and Biden have done will only embolden our enemies as we have seen recently with Russia, China, N. Korea Syria, and Iran.
The releasing of these assets to Iran was not widely reported in the media. But you can bet whatever Trump does to resolve the Middle East situation will be widely reported and probably in a negative way.

@dgobucks226 I think the big silver lining here is that the world is aware that Trump will operate in a more American way...in other words, we won't take anyone's sh*t. When America takes a stronger stance the world does pay attention.
