In October I ran into some serious medical problems and I was going to doctors in October and November, one far away, but in the same state.
He scheduled surgery for me on December 12th. The week before I had to stop taking my other meds and using my Lavender Essential Oil on my wrist to help me sleep.
So I didn’t sleep very much at all and had to deal with pain!
I got up early to get my ride go to the hospital and have the surgery. Hopefully be better! But, the ride didn’t show up!!!!!
Now my surgery cannot happen till January 15th!!!!!! Now I am praying that my medical situation doesn’t get worse!

@kareng Of course and they said that my ride would be there soon. I asked why my regular driver wasn’t given the ride and was told that she was not available which I found out was not true! They sent a driver here at 9:15 am to get me to the hospital by 9:30 am. But it wasn’t going to work because the hospital is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Also it as raining a lot and it would of taken longer.

I certainly hope not. Transportation is always something I worry about. I haven't driven since 2014. It is such a hassle. Good luck!

The surgery has to be delayed until January 15th,it is frustrating ! Hope the surgery will go well by then !

Not owning a vehicle in the US can become annoying very quickly! Especially at the prices Uber, taxis and whatever charge! I really feel for you..

@DaddyEvil Oh I sure did! But it wasn’t their fault, see there is the insurance company then the ride company ( which I have to call and set up a ride, which I did over a month ago. Two day’s before the surgery was to be I even called to verify it was set. Then they call a transportation company and set the ride up with them. Ever since I have been having to see this particular doctor I have requested this particular transportation company because the driver wasn’t always efficient and kind to me. That transportation company needs to be called by them to come pick me up. They never got the call! I reported them to the insurance company!

@dfollin You're welcome. Oh, wow! I would have called and raised some holy heck with the insurance company!
Our car broke down a few months ago and we couldn't afford to get it fixed for four months. I missed doctor appointments, had no way to go get groceries, prescriptions or anything else that wasn't within walking distance. We don't have taxi services, Uber or any other of that type of services where we live. And the city we live in is too small for any company to deliver here. It sucked!

Yes it was. But it was very irresponsible of that company not to continue booking the transportation company that I had already informed of the surgery.
