Came down with a fever

Last night, after buying some groceries for my parents, I started to feel unwell. My throat became itchy before I went to bed, and when I woke up this morning, I felt really sick. I was dizzy, my muscles ached, and my throat was even itchier. I was also feeling cold, so I checked my temperature and found it to be 38.1°C. It was quite late when I took paracetamol, as I don't like to take medication. I decided to slice some lemons and ginger, and I plan to add some pure organic honey to make a soothing drink, which I will have in a few minutes. I suspect I may have caught the virus while shopping for groceries. There were many people coughing, and most of them weren’t wearing masks. I didn’t bring a mask with me because I didn’t expect such a crowd with so many people coughing. I really hope those people stay home to avoid spreading the virus.

Yes, it really is! I just learned this from a friend who got COVID during the height of the pandemic. I feel quite a bit better, but I still feel cold and my muscles are aching. My throat still feels itchy, too. Yikes

That drink you're making is really good for sore throats. When we stayed in Nepal for a while, I'd have it for breakfast every day.

@freelancermariagrace No, I didn't. My husband flew over it on a previous trip and took some great photos.

Yes, it can help if you have a sore throat. I took it when I had COVID, and it helped me. Oh, wow! You've been to Nepal! Did you see Mt. Everest?

Yes, I hope they will take more responsibility to avoid spreading the virus. They really should have worn masks. I am feeling much better now, but my toe still hurts and my throat remains quite itchy. Thank you.

That was bad ! There is a strong possibility of you catching the virus under those circumstances. It is better to wear masks when it is crowded. Well, guess a good rest at home with natural remedies should help you. You are alsreayd taking the best of things as I read from your description. I hope you have people at home who could help you with things. Just have food and water at lukewarm or warm temperatures. Would help you to feel better and perhaps even bring down the recovery time.Hopefully , you will be better by Christmas time with proper rest and relaxation. Take care!

Yes, I definitely caught the virus from that situation. People should be responsible and wear masks if they are feeling ill to prevent spreading the virus. I really hope to feel better before I travel to visit my parents on Monday. For now, I will take natural remedies, as I prefer not to rely on over-the-counter medications. Thank you, and advance Merry Christmas!
