Most popular Christmas dishes.
I do the same things every year when someone is coming over. I like to keep it simple. No hard dishes to make for me. Most stuff I make a day ahead of time and just reheat in the oven and serve. There is always lots of leftovers.
These are things that make for a nice simple meal. Of course the main dish will take longer to cook. Like the turkey.
You can pick and choose from a long list of yummy foods.
You can have one or two of these dishes: Pork roast, turkey or ham. There are lots more meat dishes. But these are what we have.
Than you need a potato: mashed or sweet. Or both.
Green bean casseroles. ( which I have never eaten or had before).
Dressing and dinner rolls.
I have these every holiday. Raw carrot strips, celery strips, red radishes and black olives.
Plus most any kind of pie. My favorite are pumpkin, chocolate pudding pie, cherry or apple

We're having some turkey, not a whole turkey but the white meat and mashed potatoes. Making some rolls too. No dressing, yuck! No green bean casserole either! Chocolate pie is the best! Not having pie, I'll probably make brownies and/or cookies.

Sis makes green bean casserole every Thanksgiving. I take a spoonful of it to be polite, but I don't think it is that good. I like broccoli rice casserole alot better.

Hubby makes chilli and I make chicken and noodles. Neither are really very hard.
