A quiet morning in a deep and dark December it is. Outside the wind is clearing away clouds but the soon-to-rise sun still hasn’t made much of an impact on the eastern sky. I got up at six to make sure we were ready to leave the house for the airport at nine, but also to get to spend some time on my own with coffee in the half light.
