few days ago my husband got a package and when we opened it - it was actually a surprise for me. he gave me this lego set and said "maybe this one lives", because he gave me 3 orchids before and they all died. i never knew how to take proper care of them.
and seems like i don't know how to take proper care of lego orchid either. i started putting it together last night and i kept knocking pieces of the table and losing them. i spent more time looking for pieces than putting it together (ok, i'm exaggerating, but you get it 
)
what do you think about these lego sets? they seem quite popular nowadays. do you have any?

I think you have to be 12 or under to do Legos .

no, these are 18+, it says on the box . they're not difficult to put together, but there are many small parts, so maybe that's why.

@snowy22315 and i thought of another things - i think kids shouldn't have instructions to do something like putting legos together. we should let them to be creative. i just remembered what kind of cars and houses kids in Kindergarten would make. kids have awesome ideas!

they have whole botanical collection with many different flowers, but i'm not sure if i'll keep collecting. you get instructions and it's not difficult at all - if you're not losing pieces like i did

i put up the most of it that day and then i got busy with other things. i need to put up the big flowers and that's it

@aureategloom Tinker toys are like blocks but you create by pushing sticks into the holes and joining other tinkers to make what you want. They were fun but it was a long time ago.

That Lego set is beautiful! I would enjoy putting it together. I had Lego sets as a child and loved playing with them.

that’s funny you struggle with the Lego orchid as well. Once you get it all together though it will last much longer then a real orchid at least. I’ve seen a lot of cute Lego sets lately like the grinch themed ones.

I've seen this set at the store! They are popular, but boy they are expensive. At least the flowers are not so blocky - they actually look like orchids. When my son was littler, he liked legos . . . but he outgrew them. We are still finding lego pieces here and there

@aureategloom I probably have seen the car legos. I've seen a lot of the sets - I just can't remember what exactly. Here, we have Legos sold in mass merchandise stores, but there are also Lego Stores. Oh how nice you donated your Legos!

i have to admit, they really are expensive. have you seen the car legos? these are crazier than botanical collection

They never seemed to out of creativity, these lego sets. We got the real thing though.

I adore orchids. They are so beautiful. Like you, I tried my best to take good care of them but they eventually withered. My mom grows different varieties of orchids in her garden. I also want to have my growing collection.
We do not have Lego at home. Instead, my daughter and I build things with interlocking bricks. They are similar to Lego but way cheaper.
