Tragedy at Christmas Market

Oh, Lord why? I wish these maniacs would leave certain places alone especially schools, places where many people gather, and of course, during this holiday season Christmas Markets.
The facts:
A car plowed into the crowd at a Christmas Market in Magdeburg, Germany. There are many injured with the death toll rising. Among them are two dead and one was just a toddler. The attacker has been arrested and is a doctor from Saudi Arabia. Inside the vehicle, they also found an explosive device.
This is so upsetting I send up prayers for all involved.

@rasmasandra I’ve just been thinking about that while having a lovely time in Edinburgh’s Christmas market. Heartbreaking.

Such a thing happened in a Christmas market which is supposed to be a happy place bubbling with zeal makes this sadder.

Yes and he was a doctor living there enjoying the life Germany gave to him. Disgusting why they have to come to other countries and do hateful evil acts.

@sallypup it makes me think that like in the Hollywood movies suddenly the Devil takes over a person and then such things happen. Unfortunately, I think the reality is that this was one deranged person,
