I put on a big pot of homemade Chili this evening and it smells so good. I'm going to let it cook down for about 45 more minutes and then dig in.
I told my husband that if he wants cornbread to go with it, then he is in charge of making it. That will also give the cornbread time to bake. I told him that I did my part, I remembered the cornbread. We both usually forget, so it's teamwork on this effort tonight.
P.S. Mine looks much better than the one in the photo!
What are you cooking or what did you have for dinner tonight?

I’m not a fan of cornbread so I would have skipped baking that too. It’s been probably a year or more since I had chili.

Chili is always good in winter, but if I had my kitchen together
like I was hoping to have I would have made some ham stew
& a big roast to eat on for the week BUT since I don't, I'm
not cooking anything this year he will I guess or maybe not.
As far as what I had for dinner ? I had potatoes & onions with 2
fried eggs & 4 slices of apple butter toast & crashed a few hours.
