Each time we go on a trip my wife packs our daughter’s clothes, given her limitations. Much preparation goes into the operation but there is always one inexplicable error made every time - no underwear for our daughter. When we arrive at our destination and the omission is identified my wife always says, in dismay, “I had a pile of pants sitting ready to put into the case - I know exactly where they are”. The point is that they are not where they need to be - on holiday with us. It happens every time, even when I remind her. So here we are in Edinburgh having to go to buy more pants to add to the growing quantity back home. Ah well, a girl can’t have too much underwear.
