Good afternoon from snowy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We will have a white Christmas. 
I thought I would be here more than I have been, but it's been hectic around here. I'm happy to say I have my Christmas shopping done, and I have most of the shopping done for my annual New Year's Day open house done. I only need to buy the fruit and veggies.
I want to thank you for the Christmas cards that filled my box in the past week. I appreciate you so much. I only need to figure out where I can put my cards so they don't fall to the floor minutes after I hang them up.
I got good news on Saturday. I got my letter from Housing telling me I'm on the active list for the apartments I want to move to with instructions on what to do when I get to the top of the list and receive my phone call from the manager. Looks like I'll be moving in the next couple of months. It should be interesting to find out how close to the NFL Draft it will be as the apartments are two blocks from the stadium. It's going to be crazy over there at the time.
Thank you for not forgetting me. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year's if I can't get back here before then.

My plan is to be here every day in the New Year. I don't know how much I'll be here on New Year's Day with the open house. If it's like last year, and it sounds like it will be, I might not get on after the initial post in the morning.

Prayer helped with a white Christmas. We'll be in the 40s for almost a week after Christmas, so the snow will melt away. 
We had more snow yesterday.

I am happy to hear that you are getting up further on that list for housing in the place where you want to live. That might be nice for a spring move. I don't like moving in the winter.

I am glad that hopefully you will get to move sooner rather than later. Moving isn’t fun, I always dread the actual packing, etc. a lot of work.

It sounds like you're juggling a lot, but it's great to hear you've got your Christmas shopping done and most of the prep for your New Year's Day open house ready. Only needing to buy fruit and veggies is a nice place to be this close to the holiday.
