I couldn’t help but chuckle when I saw these etiquette reminders posted in the elevator at our hotel in Nepal People do tend to misbehave in lifts but do you think anyone besides me read the rules? Are there any rules trust you would add?

That’s new to me; to see rules. Very interesting.

I don't think I have ever seen rules posted in any elevator that I have been in.

Yes, “if you’re wearing three gallons of perfume, DO take the stairs.” We have them, just stated as facts (“maximum occupancy 6 people/500 pounds”).
