I know, I know. The ever-ubiquitous Merry Christmas posts—they're everywhere. And as I say most of the time about these kinds of posts, I'd be remiss not to contribute my own obligatory one. After all, we spend a lot of time together around here, so we almost become like family, sharing our joys and tribulations, our complaints and our thanks, our embarrassing moments and successes, and if you are like me...
Our unadulterated opinions, welcome or not.
I wish you and your families the best Christmas and holiday season that can be, even if you are in a place where you don't celebrate it. Our Christmas gathering won't be until the 28th as that's when we can all get together. Planning on making Parmesan garlic bacon cheeseburger lasagna for our Christmas dinner when the fam gets together.
Tonight I will just make a batch of spaghetti as we won't be doing anything special today.
Merry Christmas, y'all!

Parmesan garlic bacon cheeseburger lasagna? What in the world did your family ever do to you to get on your naughty list? That sounds positively vile. I honestly would rather sample the 4th of July slop casserole first.
In all seriousness--Merry Christmas. I hope you and Dawn have a wonderful day both today and when you get together with family.

Are you kidding me? This is going to be a "to die for" lasagna. Have a gander at this. And Merry Christmas to you and your family and cats as well.

Merry Christmas to you, too. Yes, we are like family: we get along quite well with some, and some, not so much. Not sure what I'm having for dinner tonight. I haven't even had second breakfast yet and it's closing in on lunchtime.

I hope you’ll share a pic of that lasagna. Sounds interesting to me. I’d try it.
This year Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day. I’ve seen people say Happy Chrismukkah. Or maybe it was Merry Chrismukkah.
Merry Christmas! Hope the holidays are great again now that Biden will no longer be our president.

I shared the recipe with Chicaa in comment thread because she said it sounded vile. After she saw the recipe she said it looked disgusting. I think she is insane. lol
Merry Christmas to you as well, and yes, it was the greatest gift of all. No more Biden. His departure cannot come soon enough.

@porwest Hey, very nice to see you still around here. I haven't been on here in quite some time.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your delicious dinner on the 28th!

The lasagna sounds pretty good, but would probably do the jalapeno version. Spaghetti on Christmas..different. You must love Italian food. Not my favorite, I like a little spice in my mouth. We are making a corn casserole and taking it to the AmVets today. Hoping this next week brings us a belated Christmas present of a place to live.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas with your loved ones on the 28th.

For us, the actual Christmas day was just another day since our family get together won't be until the 28th. Even lasagna can be a bit of an odd Christmas dinner choice, but we change it up a bit—we used to traditionally do lobster tails.
As for spicy and hot, no thanks for me. Too much heat ruins the taste of the food and what you wind up tasting is just the heat and not the food under it. Hope you find the new place soon and it all works out for you, and Merry Christmas.
