Pretty Enjoyed Christmas

We did too even with it smaller than expected. Daughters girlfriend was sick so she couldn't make it. And my son went to West Virginia. I don't know why but I was expecting him not to show. But it was still a great Christmas.
I think my son thinks he can move and not have to let Adeline's mom see her. When he ends up in jail I won't be feeling sorry for him. I did miss seeing Adeline opening her presents. But maybe later. I have them all put up already.
Tomorrow I will start taking the inside decorations down. It will be nice to get the house back to normal. I might leave the outside stuff for another week or so.
The picture is daughter opening one of hers with Pretty cat having to be included.

Oh, I am sorry Adeline wasn’t there to open her gifts. It’s nice that your daughter was able to.
You are right, if it’s court-ordered visitation, he could be forced to haul Adeline a lot of miles on a regular basis. I hope he thinks it through.

I was expecting it really.
As far as I know he has bought a place there. He thinks that gets him out of it unless she drives all the way

I don't know what happened the last few years but his narcissism has gotten a lot worse. That includes having to try to find a way to control everything and everyone. I am sad to say that I have not minded not seeing them very often because of that. I will always love him but I don't have to like him.

Sorry you didn't get to see your son and granddaughter today.
We had a very nice day with the kids and grands today.
I will be trying to get my house back to normal tomorrow and catch up on laundry too! We have rain in the forecast for the next few days, so I will have plenty of time to do all that!
And kudo's to Pretty for the photo bombing!!

I had a great day. Love Pretty Cat photobombing the scene. Of course, that’s what cats do for a living (or one of the things they do).
I hope your son doesn’t do something stupid regarding visitation/custody.

She is a brat cat.
From what I understand he has sold his house up here and already bought there 
. Since mom finally got visitation custody will go to her before everything is done
