Plane’s delayed. It ought to be in Manchester to carry my sweet self to Belfast but it’s in Paris where I’d prefer to be but I’m not. It’s only half an hour, but still, a delay’s a delay and it’ll work out more than a mere half hour of course. But I’ve no onward connection so no biggy. Still.

@ambiepam I was close to interacting in a chastening manner to the child sitting in front of me when we eventually got going. He was a real brat.

@xFiacre Oh, I wish you had. I have absolutely no problem with strangers commenting on atrocious behavior by children if the parents aren’t going to do anything about it.

@judyev Hype and anguish all the way. At least we all know it’ll be over after a day or two, and now that I have the festival of stuff and the foulness of air travel behind me I can settle with a nip of whiskey and do some quiet theological reflecting and try to find my feet again.
