I've been down town shopping again today. My weather app said cloudy with about 37% chance of rain. But it was very foggy. As I was walking round Stowe Pool towards town I couldn't see the Cathedral because of the fog! Then as I was coming to the end of Stowe Pool where you come to the alley between two hedges I saw Neil from Church. He said he'd just been to the dentist for the first time in years because he could never get an appointment and he was quite surprised he could get one! As I was talking to Neil, Pastor Steve came up with his two dogs so we were fussing them for a few minutes. Then Steve had to go because he said he was "on a mission!" Neil told me not to spend too much money before he said bye! I posted a letter first, and then I went to the photo except shop. There was a different lady in there today. I selected my 15 photos. They are the last ones for December. When the lady had sent them to the machine via Bluetooth, she marked off my card and told me that in future I'll have to have 30 at a time. I don't know why that is. As my photos were printing she asked me if there was anything else and I said I'd like 2 photocopies enlarged to A4 on ordinary copy paper, but she said they don't do enlargements any more! If I want a photocopy on ordinary copy paper they'd only be the same size as the original photo! If I wanted an A4 enlargement they'd be on glossy photo paper and they cost £8.50! She said if I wanted an A4 enlargement on ordinary copy paper I'd have to go to Rymans. When I came out of the photo expert shop (not so expert anymore!) I went to WH Smith and got a BBC Music magazine and 2 TV magazines for 4-10 Jan. I had to go to a person to pay today because the self service machine that takes cash wasn't working. The card one was but I don't use card. After I'd payed for those I went all the way up to the top of the Three Spires Shopping Centre to Rymans to get my A4 enlargement photocopies. All the shops on the one side up to Rymans have got boards up saying Construction In Progress. I didn't know the new development was going up that far. It's going to be a new shopping and Leisure complex. The lady in Rymans had a bit of trouble getting the size right, and she got it as large as she could. It wasn't quite A4 but she said if she made it any larger it would start to go over the edge, so I said, no, that's alright. And it ended up being cheaper than the photo expert shop. Just £1.70 whereas the photo expert shop would have been about £2.35! Next I went back down to Tesco and I got some little gem lettuce and some tomatoes for my Mum. And then I went to Iceland (the shop not the country), and got a Chinese Style Chicken curry and a Sweet and Sour chicken, but I couldn't get any paella. After I'd payed for those I went home. And I did it all without going to the toilet by the Cathedral once! But when I got home I was bursting, so I had to go quick! I gave my Mum her change, club card and shopping list. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I've just had my lunch, and West Side Story is on. It is B O R I N G! But there's nothing else on! It's just films! What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

You did a lot of shopping there and I'm sure you got tired. The one thing I highly appreciate you for is your love for your mom. It's really great. I'm fine.I have nothing special to do today. Just dealing with the customers and studying Sanskrit. I'm trying to study higher maths. Sanskrit and maths have been my passion.

Yes, I did. Yes, I was tired. I'm glad you are fine. I'm just sitting at home watching telly mostly. And reading and learning Welsh, aswell as coming on here. I hope you dealt with your customers OK. I hope you were successful with your Sanskrit. I hated maths when I was at school!

@sharonelton Thank you. My store is doing good business. Till four months back I was unable even to write a single sentence in Sanskrit; but now I can write short stories and articles in the classical language. Still there is much to learn now and I'm determined to learn more and more.

@Shivram59 You're welcome. I'm glad your store is doing good business. That's great! I hope I can do that in Welsh soon! Me too! I've got MUCH more to learn with my Welsh. I should dedicate more time to it really!

@sharonelton Well done on going so long without a loo break. We made sandwiches for a picnic in the car at Brown’s Bay.

It's annoying when a shop suddenly changes what it can and can't do after you've been going there for ages.

Yes, it is a bit frustrating. I mean, why would they do that? It means I'll only be going in there once a month in future, so less time to tempt me to buy something else at the same time!
