My husband and son love to put jam on their biscuits and toast. I like to find new flavors for them to try. I found a jam called “FROG”. It is a mixture of figs, raspberries, orange and ginger. They tried it on their biscuits Christmas morning and really enjoyed it. Have any of you heard of this jam before ?

My goodness, that really sounds delicious. Where did you get it? I don't use jams or jellies very often .so I have a bit too many, but I would make an exception for that one. When I first saw your discussion,I couldn't imagine what it would be about now I know

That sounds delicious. Nothing I have heard of before. It may be called something else here though, frog is a derogatory term used to refer to French people, and there are plenty of them in Canada.

I hadn’t thought of that. One of my grandma’s was French. I think she would have given it a taste.

That’s a scary name. Get some people in Louisiana buying it and they’ll go, “This don’t taste NOTHIN’ like frog jam that mama made with them big ol’ frogs!” Sounds interesting, though. Please keep an eye on the weather today.
