What did you get for Xmas ? hope it was everything you wanted
& then some, We had a day just doing what we always do & that
was staying at home sleeping on & off through the day.
We had some thanksgiving leftovers we took out of the freezer
& heated that up for Xmas dinner "roast beef stew" & cooked
some corn bread & that was it for us, BUT I did manage to
get some things I needed for the cabin after Xmas, & that was
a new freezer & new dishwasher, but I also got some other
stuff B-4 Xmas as well, my adjustable bed frame & new
microwave & a new air fryer, so I can't complain. 
When I get the kitchen in the cabin finished & all set up
I will be cooking some extra good meals for us to eat that I have
been making a list of from videos I've been watching, so that will
be a good thing, cause being I have a counter top stove that I got
2 years ago while I was in rehab & haven't been able to get it
installed yet, that will be another way of cooking some good food.
So things in the cabin is getting there, it's just a slooow process
I keep hoping for something to get done everyday, but another day
goes by day after day with nothing getting done, so I just have to
wait till I get tired of waiting to say something to get something
done, which really sucks, but I can't push the only help I got.
I hope everyone has a awesome great new years 2025 & your
well & healthy & blessed to see another yr. come in & the old 1

@allknowing OH LORD, I would try & find a long term solution

it wasn't just to spend $ but to get rid of everything the
mice had destroyed while I was in the hosp, so by the
time spring come I will have replaced EVERYTHING.

Glad to hear things are coming together there in the cabin even though it is a little slow going!
I got a new tent for my Farmasi events so that I can do some outdoor events in Spring and Fall. Not pushing Summer- can't set up in heat because some products will melt. And Winter is a no-go for me unless summer-like weather. I think this will come in very handy at the Dog Adoption Days held monthly. And this one is supposed to be much easier to set up and can be done with only one person...me!!

@2ndchances24 I already signed up for the Market Event at the Ag. Heritage Bldg. that I did last September. They will have 2 market days per month in 2025!

yeah this place is going to be a NEW cabin by the time
it's all done with everything replaced that the mice destroyed.
I hope what you got will be a awesome thing to set up & easy to use.

time isn't always on our side, just be thankful you had a great

me too, it's been a LONG time to see thing FINALLY getting
this cabin like it's suppose to be it just sucks it took me
getting deathly sick to get it going to make it feel like home.
Why would be the new year be so scary? it's just another year
like any other yr we have been through.

@LindaOHio you can go to Mannards & get what I got & that's a sonar that has a sound
they can't stand (you can silence the sound where you can't hear it) I have 2 of them in the
cabin & some small 1's I have plugged into the wall sockets that keep them away.

I got some nice things for Christmas. I had asked for a Golden Girls calendar and a specific candle, and I got those from my dad. 
A couple of my aunts sent me money, and I really appreciate that. I don’t know what I got from my sister because she sent the present home with my dad, and I haven’t seen him since then. A few friends gave me presents I didn’t even know I wanted! They told me to wait until Christmas morning to open them.
I didn’t get to see the family for actual Christmas Day, but I did get some nice naps, like you did. I hope your 2025 is absolutely wonderful.

it's not very often we go on a spending spree like this
but everything had to be replaced & redone from what
the mice destroyed, & with no more dogs in here there's
no more dust & hair floating around.

I'm glad you had a good Christmas. I hope you can get more work done in the cabin soon.
I was with my son and his girlfriend and family for Christmas. I did get a few things as Secret Santa gifts. So, it's been a good Christmas here.
