I'm with my relatives for 4 days and these days are charged with many experiences and feelings. Joy , sorrow, happiness, disgust, shock and what not! Let me start with the Christmas night singing. The singing could have been better. A senior member of the village literally vented his disappointment . That left a sour taste in my mouth. In my relatives' village there were late celebrations of Christmas. There were birthdays and l also took part in a funeral mass. Yesterday , a distant relative died . Today in the evening there was a condolence service and a prayer for the repose of the departed soul. I attended it from the beginning to the prayer. There were moments of joy and pride as well. Tomorrow, I plan to return to my place of work, to my strains of foster parenting. All this is part of life, isn't it?
