Just a little about our Christmas

We had prepared and frozen some really nice Mexican Salisbury Steaks at home, and took them to eat at my brother's house. It was Christmas Eve. My brother always takes us out to eat and we wanted to do something that we could easily enjoy at their home, as he was having a Christmas Eve service at his church. This filled the bill nicely. We had tater tots and Brussels sprouts and home made cookies with them. Bob had gone out and gotten 90% lean ground beef to make this dish. I have copied the recipe as it was in a cookbook/history book he had checked out. I fully intend for him to make them again so I can pack lots of work lunches with them. My sister-in-law loves to bake. She was "at work" ( in her home office) when we got there, but most days she works from home. She scans and codes medical records for a large hospital system. The way her job has evolved in the last two years the office now only has one live person in at a time besides the supervisor. They take turns. She only drives in once every six work days. They are training a new employee and then it will be once every seventh work day that she will go in. Bob woke up sick Christmas morning. We visited and opened gifts while he slept. I drove us home. Pretty low key, I would say. Hope you are having a good in between week.
