Monday Morning...

I will be heading to Lafayette, Louisiana Monday morning to my oldest daughter's. It will be her first day back at work after the holidays since she took several days off.
I will be going over to babysit my granddaughter, 6, who is still out of school. My grandson is now working and has work on both Monday and Tuesday. The only other day not covered is Friday and she will be putting in to leave an hour early Friday afternoon so I won't have to drive back over for one day.
I'm looking forward to a change in routine and having a nice sunny forecast to look forward too. The princess and I will probably do a little shopping! She loves it, unlike my older granddaughter.
So I'll be leaving very early in the morning to be there before my grandson goes to work right before lunch.
I'm going to sign off now because I need to go pack a few things and not leave that to do in the morning!
Hope you all have a great day!! I'm bringing my old laptop and hoping it will work! Any bets on that? Yay or nay?

Good luck on your visit to your daughter. I only hope there could be rain so there won't be much fire works on the new year.

Thank you! Got here just fine but got a bit stressed with having to pop into daughter's work to get my grandson's wallet that was in her purse so he could drive to work. Had no clue where her office was and then she gave me bad directions in getting to her house.

@Juliaacv He was trying to get smart with me. Asked how long I would be. I was lost thanks to my daughters bad directions. LOL. I told him I would be there in just a few minutes and he said that he was leaving in 5 minutes. I told him better not, cause if you get stopped without your driver's license it won't be fun or funny! I told him to wait by his car for me. He is doing community service right now for a speeding ticket. Apparently, he thought about it and decided to wait for me.

My sister will go to work at January 2 next year, we had a very long holiday break here in the Philippines. She had a Work From Home Schedule last Friday, then this week from Monday to Wednesday the whole country is on break, but depends on the type of industry you are in... but the corporate was on break until New Year.
