I think it has been a decade or more than a decade since I last step foot on a cinema. I am not one who needs to be updated with movies and all that. And with Netflix around, I find it much comfortable watching at home. But hubby requested us to watch just one movie so I give in.
Cinemas nowadays are very different from the one in the old days.
They have those directors club, 2D and 3D. In the one we went to, there were only 50 seats and we chose our seats when we bought it online. The seats were all lazy boy that you can recline and all that. I was afraid I might sleep instead of watching the movie. I wish I bought a blanket with me. It also came with free popcorn and drinks.and of course, it's much expensive now.

The movie is a local one. Every Christmas, film producer makes movies for a movie festival. The movie we saw is Espantaho in English, Scarecrow. It's a thriller, mystery genre
I enjoy the reclining chair. I thought I might sleep through the movie. Good thing I did not

I don't' even remember the last time I saw a movie in an actual theater. . Sounds like you had a good time and hope you enjoyed the movie.

I rarely watch movies. The last movie I watched was "Shootout at Lokhandwala." It was based on a real shootout in which a gangster was eliminated with his gang.

It’s been a while since I went to the cinema to watch a movie. I tend to fall asleep as the lights go down and even the loudness doesn’t affect me. I can often snore above the volume of the movie, which doesn’t go down well with those who are awake and trying to enjoy it.

It’s been a long time since you’ve been to the cinema! It sounds like a whole new experience compared to the old days. The reserved seating and luxury lazy boy chairs must have made it feel like a cozy home theatre. I can see how the recliners might make it tempting to nap instead of watching the movie! And yes, movie tickets have definitely gotten pricier, especially with the added perks like free popcorn and drinks. It’s great that you gave it a try though—sometimes a change of scenery makes for a nice experience!

I don't remember the last time I watched a movie in a theater. I haven't experienced a recline seat in a theater. Otherwise, I would definitely fall asleep.
