Am I the only one....

Am I the only one who would like to treat 31st as just another day in the calendar & have a nice meal before going to bed, and wake up to a new day. Probably in my teens, I wouldn't have thought likewise, or is it the symbol of growing old, or is it all about leading a minimalistic life!!

I have always thought of it as just another day. Sometimes we will have a special meal on New Years day.

While some people love to welcome the New Year with celebrations, I'm sure many simply sleep through it—and that's perfectly okay. Do what feels right for you! Happy New Year!

I am feeling like that now. There's this sudden jolt of happiness on New Year's eve and 2-3 day into January, all of that is gone!

@Rimps85 yeah. The new year's eve there were fireworks. That was the good part.

No; it was like just another day for me; too. However I celebrate the Hindu New Year that falls around April. As you know; we call it "Varsh Pratipada".
