Happy New Year!! Last night was great! Friend, after battling some hail in the way down brought me a nice win 11 computer new in the box which was a belated Christmas gift,but what was really nice was going to a house that had a synchronized light display to its own radio station. I wish I could share video on here, as the pics don't do it justice. How was your New Year?

@snowy22315 - The Swiss are very quiet and Italy got a lot more serious about noises, we heard nothing even coming from Italy. I was pleased by that.

@snowy22315 - We almost had no noises, I heard a few fireworks in the distance, but it only lasted a few minutes.

I’m so glad you got to see that! We have a house nearby that does the same thing with the radio station. It was featured on The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC. They have a huge field near their house, and people park in the field, turn the station on, and watch a fifteen minute song/light synchronization. Kids especially love it.

It wasn't a very good night last night, but even so there were no other cars there which surprised me. It is pretty tucked away in a subdivision though. If the people near you were on Great Christmas Light Fight, that place must be amazing. This place wasn't big enough for that, but it sure was impressive I can't wait to go next year. I hope they don't move!

@GardenGerty Yeah, I have seen really cool ones in TV, but nothing in person before that was that sophisticated, and best of all free

Thank you, it is nice and I really appreciate having it, as I think it will make my life easier. I was able to get into my bookmarks too, after I transferred everything over to the new computer. I havent been able to do that for years.

@GardenGerty It's wonderful, although I would have preferred Windows pro, although this one has Office 365 Office Suite free for a year.

Yeah, it is great to receive a new computer.
Happy New year to you, a new computer as a surprise is a wonderful way to get the new year off to a positive start.
The lights are pretty, I can imagine how great it looks when you have the music and the lights change to the beat, I've seen that here too.
Have fun setting up the computer today.

What a great present!!! So glad you got a new computer! And I love to see those synchronized lights/music displays.
The fireworks here were relatively short and didn’t rattle the house so badly that the burglar alarm went off. I went to sleep about 2 AM according to my sleep app and woke up at 9:30, which is typical for me. Now I’m doing laundry. Wow, what excitement in my world huh!

Thanks, nice no rattlers. I needed the computer as I was working strictly from a Chromebook, phone,Kindle. My other computers were toast.

Happy New Year!
I slept through the New Year's celebrations which was nice. Usually, the fireworks wake me up and I can't get back to sleep for a while.
