I don’t have the ability to research info on my phone while typing my post so I can’t tell you for v sure how old this mosque is but I’m thinking 17th century We had to wear abbayas to enter the mosque. It holds 20,000 worshippers I love v seeing all the old buildings. This was in New Delhi India Photo taken by me

Very cool. 20,000 worshippers requires a large building!!! Have a good day.

The Picky Wedia entry says it was built 1644-1656. Twenty thousand? That’s a big place!

@looeyville I love that part of the city, or at least how it was in the late 70s. Did you visit the Red Fort too?
