Good morning from this side of the world. It's a sunny and pleasant Thursday here. It is 11:22 AM as I write this post. I am back from work. It was first day at work after Christmas holidays of 13 long days.
I hope that everyone had a good holiday and Christmas with family and loved ones. And wishing you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2025.
My 2024 went well. But the last week was not so good. Well, that's how life is. I lost my maternal uncle. He was like a father figure and someone I was very emotionally close it. He died at 74 with a sudden brain haemorrhage. It was all unexpected and sudden. He was pretty healthy and active. And on the same day, my mom had a slip while walking and fell down. Though nothing serious, she had acute pain due to her fall. The death of her dear brother was also an emotional toll on her. I went to attend the funeral of my uncle and also be with my.mom for some time. Well, I had to drop my exam as this sudden fall of my mom got me worried and I rushed to be with her. I couldn't appear for the presentation, exam and project submission to get my certificate..so, the one thing I was working for since June did not come to an end as planned.
But glad and grateful that the mentors have allowed me to appear for it with it with next batch in June or July 2025 and finish the formality to get the certificate.
I hope for a better new year for everyone here.
I hope to be more in online space as I have free Sundays now. Yes, I would attend few classes with the new batch to stay on track. Our mentor is generous enough to allow anyone from past batches to refresh their concept and learnings without paying the fees again. I would like to take advantage of that.
Once again, Happy 2025. Stay healthy and happy

Good you have another opportunity to sit for that exam
Falling when one gets old is common. I am very careful about it. I do not think I will be able to get up on my own if ever I fell.

I am thankful to my mentor for this. I hope to stay motivated and finish it. Once we are out of class, it is difficult to stay on track.
Mom is also careful. This was so unexpected, accident can happen any time to any age. She is okay now and back to normalcy slowly.
Take good care of yourself. Take all precautions and good care in all possible ways.

@allknowing Just get it checked. Old age comes with some ageing complications of weakening bones, muscles and joints. It might not be something serious. Just get checked for peace of mind. Some nutritional deficiencies might be the cause of these pains

Thank you Judy. I was not in a mental status to stay here and write my exam. Family, especially parents and elderly are the priority.

Something don't go as expected and planned. I hope that I stay motivated and finish the course and get certificate by July. Mom is okay and back to normalcy soon.
Well, the passing away was sudden and shocking. He was all okay in the morning and was gone by the night. Such is life.

Life brings a mixed bag of joys and sorrows. Sorry for your loss . May God grant eternal rest to your uncle's soul. It's frustrating not to get what we want but I believe everything happens at the right time for those who trust in God. Perhaps your joy will be greater when you finally get the certificate. May this new year bring you abundant blessings!

Sorry for your loss. May the departed soul rest in peace. Good to see you got the delay in the process in a positive way. For me , it has been a normal year beginning. 2024 has been good in some ways and not great in some. Hopefully I could make this year better. Well, I too need to get to work and start on the things. Should be busy for next 7-8 months with lot of things to be done and covered. At the same time , there are certain time bound activities and goals to be completed. Well, it would be an interesting ride. Great to hear you will be more active in mylot in coming days. Enjoy the time!

Thank you for your concern.
I hope that 2025 is great for you and you accomplish all that you plan for. Having goals and time constraints can be overwhelming at times, but it is good to have them as it helps you stay focused and streamlined. Makes you focused too.
I don't have much plans. But I definitely plan to be better with my productivity and time management skills. Also, my health is my priority and I want to stay on track with my diet and exercise.
