Clean Up.

It's time to clean up all the decorations I put. As much as I want it to stay until Three Kings (first Sunday), I will be busy by then. Kids and hubby will be back to school and work. Laundry took a lot of time yesterday as well. Now, I'm folding clothes. Hopefully I can clear the decors later. Gloomy weather here. How's the weather?

Good luck getting the decorations down and put away soon. The forecast shows snow and icy rain this Saturday and Sunday here. Temps here will stay below freezing for the next week, at least. (25F/-4C tonight)

@rakski Putting some away is better than still having them all out on display. Will your kids help you put them away? (Pretty used to help me but then she got lazy so I stopped putting them on display. *shrug*)

We haven't cleaned up from the holidays yet. With family, it just gets busy, so we do what we can do is all. It's been sunny here, but cold in the mornings. I think we're about to get a little colder in the next week.

I took down the only decorations I planned on this morning when I did the laundry. They were on my door. Now, I only have the two door hangers on my door.

It sprinkled a bit this morning, and the sun has been going in and out from behind the clouds the rest of the day. All I have left to put away is taking the ornaments off of the tree and putting them and the tree away.

I'll be starting to take down the decorations over the weekend but the outside lights will come down tomorrow before the weather changes on Sunday. I love the ambience of the Christmas tree so that will be the last thing to be put away. Hope you get your stuff done. It's time consuming to put all that decor away.

I do agree it is time to move the decorations. The New Year has started .Plus we all get busy. The weather is getting hot where I am currently stationed. From the looks , it seems the summer is going to be long and hard. I am little worried on water scarcity and outages. The summer last year was a horror for me. It was tough to get sleep at night even with baths , air conditioner and a fan. I hope thats not the case this year. Otherwise, getting busy with work and then there are challenges. Hope you had a great time. Enjoy the weekend!

Yes, I do agree with you with the decors. Summer will still be in around 3 months here so I'm enjoying the cool weather. Summer here is scorching hot too.
