Not too much happening today.
We got a late start on the day. The hubby wanted a big breakfast--he missed me while I was gone.
Then I fed all the animals and he did a few things outside while I took care of animals and then we ran into town to pick up feed for the chickens for next week, diesel for the heater, a run into the grocery for meat for next week, lottery tickets, and he needed a bolt or something from the hardware store that he left there and then went to the auto parts store. The bolt was over $5 cheaper at the auto parts store! Crazy, right?
We came home and grabbed a sandwich and have been doing this or that. I am trying to get as many things done as I can since the dog will be inside most of next week with the big chill.
I will be catching up on reading your discussions tonight. I am almost caught up on notifications. Yay!
How was your day today? Typical or something new and different?

I wish it was more active than it was, but I know that George gets tired very easily and he didn't go to bed until four in the morning.

@kaylachan It's hard for us to make morning appointments with our drive to Baton Rouge for doctors. I get all that. You are nailing it.

@kareng He has an odd schedule. He hasn't been sleeping the same since we came home from the hospital. At first he couldn't stay up past 8, and eventually it got later. Now he might doze around 1 or 2 A.M. but we hit the bed anywhere between 2. and 5 A.M. and he's usually back on the couch no later than 11. A.M. When I schedule appoitments, I aim for the afternoon. Between his lack f driving, and his odd sleeping habbits, mornings aren't easy for us. It will be hard to pull off, but I'll make the 11 Am test work, somehow. I tried to aim for the afternoon, but apparently the doctor who does it won't do afternoon appoitments because it requires fasting. So.... that's a thing. I mean, George is unique. He fuctions far differently than most people. In the speach testing, he struggled with what should've been easy words for most people, but nailed what would be harder words and cpncepts.

I got up late today, too--and almost missed an appointment that I completely forgot about. I'm very tired, and I think it's from going (walking) to the Food Bank Thursday for the first time in weeks and dragging a heavy cart most of the way back (I say "most of the way" because a neighbor drove by when I was about half a block away from home and asked if I needed help, and I said I did, so she loaded me and my stuff and took me the rest of the way home).
