My bass student was a riot today!

She is 16-years-old and was showing me the silly videos she made with her younger brother (age nine, on drums) and her friend, her age, on guitar, over the Holidays. In the end we worked on a bass riff from a band called "Black Sabbath" that her dad likes. It was incredibly simple. Have you heard of "Black Sabbath"? I think they were a "thing" when I was a teen. As I showed her the bass line to the Black Sabbath song, I made funny expressions, showing how I was "rocking out." I couldn't resist. I had her upload the "guitar face" video that is one of my favorites. I will try to find it and attach it here. I had her watch part of it and upload it to her phone. She cracked up. Teaching music is fun. That's all I can say.

@TheHorse I can see that. Ten in a row would be a bit taxing. I say that because I'm guessing that you remember the game plan for each student and what they are working on, have trouble with, plans, etc. With 10 in a row, that could get confusing. Or at least, it would to me!

Or am I totally wrong and you have everything written down on each student in a planner of some sort?
