Robo Vacuum-A Review

Last week I ordered a robo vacuum cleaner.
I have wanted one for well over a decade, but due to pets and stairs and a variety of reasons, I never bought one. I have been researching them quite a bit these past 6 months or so and finally made a purchase.
My bot does carpet as well as flooring.
I ran it for the second time yesterday. I have to say that the floors did not look like they needed vacuuming, but......After running it I was amazed at how much dust came out of the dirt cup. I was really impressed.
I debated on getting the model that vacuums as well as mops but thought that I should start simple. I will still vacuum some areas that she doesn't fit into, such as behind the toilet and tight areas such as that.
I would recommend one if you are researching them. I thank Eva for the help that she provided to me while I was researching them. I am going to recommend the wet bot to our son because he and his wife have a porcelain tile floor throughout the majority of their main floor. It has dimples in it, and given how much suction this one has I am certain that the wet one will also and be able to get the dirt that tends to fall into those places.

No, they are not for every household.
The noise and the movement would have been too frightening on the dog that we used to have.
I believe that our son could use one if they run it after the girls are asleep for the night or away for playgroup because just watching something go on its own would peak their curiosity.

That was why I spent so much time looking into it before I bought one.
I trusted who gave me the recommendation and she wasn't wrong in my opinion.
I get a bonus from work in mid January, and I was going to wait until then to make the purchase, but the Boxing Day sale was so good that I just moved the date up a few weeks.

@Juliaacv It started with the Roomba but it is too costly. I want one that is a bit cheaper just to keep the house tidy when I cannot do the big vacuuming. My husband spent 400£ for out bulky one so a small one needs to be on the cheaper side.Which model is your one?

My apartment could not take this, I have mostly carpet and the area is small and the poor Robo could not maneuver well,

My mother keeps talking about us getting one. We don't have carpet, but we do have 4 cats.

I am glad you are in love with your robo vac. It makes me think I should get my robo vac knock off running again. It looks like I will be spending plenty of time housebound so it might be time to take a look at it.

I am pleased with mine.
I will be able to run her while I am working now that I know how well she does.
I keep her out of the bathroom and out of our bedroom because I store alot of things under the bed that she could get tangled up with as well my office is off limits because it is so small and I always have things stacked here and there. I still need an actual vacuum, but the big rooms are done for me which I am thankful for.
I noticed that I had great difficult with scanning the QR code with my phone, this has made me set a date to replace it. I have been putting that off for about a year, but the time has come.

I'm glad to hear that your bot did the trick. I have a Shark up-right that I've had for about 5 years now. Works great!

I wanted one a really long time ago, but with the stairs and Nayla, our dog, I knew that it wasn't possible.
I am pleased with it now. I still use my old vacuum for the bathroom and our bedroom, I did that today.
The robo doesn't have a beater bar like the powerhead to my vacuum does, so hair cannot get tangled in it, which I appreciate, and it has alot of suction.

Glad you like it. He might be better getting one that mops only. I am thinking of doing that later. The one I have uses a pad so it is dirty pretty fast. Especially when it's muddy outside

Yes, it will not completely eliminate the need for me to vacuum, it doesn't have any attachments to do tight spots, between the fridge and cupboards or behind the toilet or corners. I do not mind doing that. This saves my back quite a bit, vacuum cleaning aggravated it.

I have one but the waste box is too delicate and already needs replacement. My one mops the floor too.

I had one before, but it was not working very well. I still want to get one in the near future.

It must be a J20T thing then.
My husband always said that he would love a lawn mower one, they have them now they run off of the GPS co ordinates that you input so that they stay on your property.
I like my bot girl and will keep her around.
Good news also, I have some mats here and there and she manages them quite well I have to say.

I am also planning to have one robo vaccum and mop this year. My household help is ageing and she is not that good with cleaning and mopping the floor. Even I struggle. Ours is a complete tile floor. So, I will go for one with wet mopping one.
Good that you are happy with it.
